Road rage incident leads to homicide, police say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have identified the victim in a homicide that occurred Friday night that may have been the result of road rage.

Shortly before 10:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting near Interstate 29 and 152-Highway. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male inside a vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds.

Police said the suspect later called officers to a nearby gas station, where the suspect was taken into custody for questioning.

An early investigation revealed the incident may have started as a road rage situation between the drivers of two vehicles, police said.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Clinton R. Alsobrook.
