Maybe it’s the plaza lights, or maybe it’s the barbecue. For all the things Kansas City has going it, our city has been named the No. 4 best cold weather winter travel destination nationwide. Kansas City just barely beat St. Louis in a ranking system devised by personal finance website, WalletHub.

WalletHub’s analysts determined the rank of the nation’s 69 largest metro areas based on an algorithm that tracks categories like Travel Costs & Hassles, Local Costs, Attractions, Weather Conditions, and Activities.

Kansas City only ranked behind No. 3 Albuquerque, N.M.; No. 2 New York-Newark; and No. 1 Atlanta, Ga.
