FOX 4 takes you inside the “Mr. and Mrs. Bridge” house near 65th and State Line that is up for sale

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- If you drive by 65th and State Line chances are you won't forget seeing what's known as "The Bixby House" or also known as the house used in the movie "Mr. and Mrs. Bridge."

"Mr. & Mrs. Bridge" was shot in the metro in 1990.

Maggie Jacobs was in the film and actually fell in love with the home, which was built in the 1930s, and bought it.

On Wednesday, Oct. 19 FOX 4's Kathy Quinn went inside the home that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for a special tour.

The home, which have five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, is currently listed for sale at $2.4 million.
