KC police say an impatient man threw a partition at an election judge Tuesday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police say an election judge sustained minor injuries Tuesday when a voter threw something at him and kicked him.

According to police, a man became impatient with waiting at a polling place along Campbell Street, and threw a partition at the election judge.  The partition struck the judge in the face.

Police say the man then kicked the judge in the leg and ran from the scene.

Officers searched the area for the suspect, but they did not find him.

The judge has minor injuries from the incident.

Police say they are investigating this as a non- aggravated assault.
