Police searching for suspect who robbed US Bank inside Price Chopper in Leawood

LEAWOOD, Kan. — Leawood Police and the FBI are searching for a suspect who robbed a bank inside a Leawood grocery store on Saturday.

Investigators said a man entered the US Bank branch inside a Price Chopper at 95th Street and Mission Road around 2:45 p.m. and approached a bank teller and announced a robbery before fleeing the store with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male with a beard, wearing a black wide-brimmed hat and a black suit jacket.
