KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The lockdown at Metropolitan Community College’s Penn Valley campus has been lifted.

The college was placed on lockdown Wednesday just after noon due to a fight the college tweeted.

No specifics were given, but the college warned students if they were on campus to shelter in place. The alert said people were not on campus, should not enter.

As of 12:45 p.m., police said the campus was secure, and the lockdown was lifted.
