INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Independence police are seeking the public’s assistance in location a man injured when he was struck by a vehicle on Sunday.

The man was reportedly hit at Noland Road and 42nd Terrace shortly before 7:15 p.m. He is still being treated at a local hospital, but police have not been able to identify him.

The man is a described as a white male, possibly in his late 30s or early 40s, standing about 5’10” to 6′ tall, 160-175 pounds, and has several tattoos. He has black receding hair and a long black goatee. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident.
