KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A local firefighter who doubles as a country singer will take the stage Wednesday night as part of The Wolf radio station's Acoustic Christmas.

Noe Palma is the opening act and normally you would find him with a fire hose in his hands, but Wednesday he will be holding a microphone.

The concert is part of a partnership between the radio station and the Salvation Army to help collect toys for kids who might otherwise not receive them.

The show is at Harrah’s VooDoo Lounge and starts at 8:30 p.m. It will feature performances from Palma, Love and Theft, Jackie Lee and Eli Young Band.

To gain entry to the show, you are asked to donate a $10 unwrapped toy for a child in Kansas City.
