RAYMORE, Mo. -- There were smiles all around Sunday night as the Grandview Police Department held its annual Christmas with Cops event.

Each child was given $100 to spend on presents.

Officers walked around with the nearly 40 children and helped them pick out presents and add up how much each item cost.

Here's what some of the children had to say when asked what they were going to buy with the cash"

"Because I get to get too much toys."

"I want to get my little sisters, Skylar and Bailey something for Christmas."

"I want Minnie Mouse!"

Officers say they raised the money for the event during their annual Grandview Turkey Day Fun Run 5-K.
