Independence police seek public’s help in identifying robbery suspect

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Independence Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man they said robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

In a Facebook post, police said the suspect robbed the Road Star Gas Station at 11100 E. US 40-Highway at 3 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect was reportedly accompanied by another black male (not pictured) who was wearing a black hat and a dark colored bandanna over his face.

Police said the suspects made off with cash and a carton of cigars.
