St. Joseph police say missing 1-year-old boy found safe, non-custodial father in custody

Update: The St. Joseph Police Department says that Levi Pearson was found and is safe, dad Alvin Wiggins is in custody.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The St. Joseph Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 1-year-old boy and his non-custodial father.

Police say Levi Sebastian Pearson was last seen on Monday, they believe he is with 42-year-old Alvin Wiggins.

Levi is 2 feet tall and weighs 25 pounds. He was wearing a gray and red striped T-shirt, a black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

Wiggins is 5 feet and 9 inches tall, and weighs 220 pounds. He is driving a white 2006 Buick LaCrosse that has expired temporary tags, and may be headed to Kansas City.
