Found safe: 13-year-old Northland boy with autism, walking on foot in cold

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Clay County Sheriff Department asked the public to help locate a missing 13-year-old boy who was last seen at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

The 13-year-old boy has autism and was last seen in the 2100 block of N.E. 48th Street, walking east. That’s near the Northbrook Garden Apartments, between Antioch Road and Highland Avenue on 48th Street.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office confirmed he had been located at about 7 p.m. near Parvin and N Brighton.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes and authorities were concerned about him in the cold. He was found safe.
