UPDATE: Missing 75-year-old woman from Lenexa found dead in Topeka hotel

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A missing 75-year-old woman from Lenexa was found dead Thursday in a Topeka hotel room, officials say.

When Lenexa Police issued a Silver Alert Thursday, Georgia R. Miner had not had contact with relatives or friends since March 2.

According to family, Ms. Miner exhibited signs of dementia and had gotten lost while driving errands in the recent past. Miner also took medication and it was unknown if she had it in her possession.

Topeka Police found Miner Thursday afternoon, and the department will now handle Miner’s death investigation.

Please also be on the lookout for this missing man in a separate missing persons case.

Billy Enloe, 78, was on the phone with his family, told them he was lost, and then his phone went dead. He may have been trying to get to Harrisonville. He was last seen Wednesday.
