I work in the web world at FOX 4 and bring our on-air product plus a lot more right to your fingertips through online, mobile and social platforms. I joined the FOX 4 Newsroom in 2012.

While I’m originally from Arlington, Texas; Missouri has been my home for the most part since August of 2005 when I began attending the University of Missouri in Columbia. I am a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and hold both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the school.

I’ve worked in a variety of facets as a journalist, including a stint as a graphics artist for the Columbia Missourian newspaper, an online editor and writer for The Lutheran magazine in Chicago and as an assignment/web editor for KOMU-TV. My experience at KOMU led me down I-70 to Kansas City.

I enjoy bringing a compelling blend of both interesting and important stories to fox4kc.com. I particularly enjoy writing stories about crime, sports and the offbeat, wacky stories that make you chuckle.

When I’m not at my desk looking over Signal Hill, you can probably find me at a sporting event. I’m an avid Mizzou fan and still love the teams I grew up with in DFW, particularly the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars. Kansas City is a lot happier when the Chiefs and Royals are playing well, so I root for them most of the time and root for Sporting Kansas City all of the time.

I look forward to the days when the Sprint Center has a professional hockey or basketball team and still hold out hope that the Missouri/Kansas rivalry will find its way to a court or field sometime in the near future.
