Bill Hurrelbrink joined FOX 4 in 2008 as a traffic reporter for FOX 4's morning newscasts.
Bill was born and raised in Kansas City, Kan., before heading two hours west to attend college at Kansas State University. Bill got into broadcasting through the K-State campus radio station, KSDB-FM, and has never looked back. Following graduation, he spent four years at a four station radio cluster in Manhattan, Kan. In 2006 he decided he missed the "big city" and moved back to Kansas City, and began working at Q104 in KCMO.
Now in TV, Bill enjoys working with the FOX 4 Morning Team, helping viewers avoid traffic troubles during their morning commute. Currently, Bill lives in Kansas City, Kan., with his wife Missy and son Gavin. In his free time he enjoys losing golf balls, watching K-State sports, and during football season, he acts as the “voice” for the Kansas State University Marching Band, announcing for their pregame and halftime shows. He and Missy also lead the youth group at Trinity Community Church, A United Methodist Congregation, in Kansas City, KS.
