Some Hospitals Ditching Free Formula for New Moms

New moms typically leave the hospital not only with their baby, but a big bag of swag. But now there is a growing debate over whether free samples of baby formula should be included in those bags.

According to the World Health Organization and many health experts, giving new moms formula freebies undermines their efforts to encourage women to breastfeed for at least the first six months. Now some hospitals are doing away with the free formula.
