MU Romps Over Niagara 83-52

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri Tigers used a barrage of three-pointers to run their record to a perfect 3-0 on Thursday night, defeating Niagara at Mizzou Arena 83-52.

Kansas City native and senior guard Marcus Denmon led the Tigers with 22 points. Denmon was one of five different Missouri players who scored in double digits. Kim English added 14 points and seven rebounds, as Missouri pulled away early in the first half by hitting nine three-pointers.

The contest was a regional final in the College Basketball Experience Classic. The next stop for Mizzou will be the Sprint Center on Monday night when they will meet the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

On Tuesday, Missouri will meet either California or Georgia at the Sprint Center.
