Photos: World Leaders Smooch In Ads

Clothing store United Colors of Bennetton caused quite a stir world-wide when they released Photoshopped images of feuding world leaders, kissing for the camera.

The often-controversial clothing store said the ads were released as part of their “Unhate” campaign, aimed at fostering tolerance and “global love.”

The Vatican lashed out at the image of the Pope kissing an Egyptian imam, and on Thursday, the company removed the image, saying they were “sorry that the use of the image had so hurt the sensibilities of the faithful.”
