KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police are on the lookout after they say one man tried to abduct three young girls from three different neighborhoods in Wyandotte and Johnson counties.

According to police, a suspect described as a Hispanic man, 35-40 years of age with a medium build and mustache, tried to lure a 13-year-old girl into his vehicle near 55th and Monrovia in Shawnee around 4:11 p.m. on Thursday afternoon shortly after she had gotten off a school bus. The girl ran home and wasn't hurt in the incident.

About 30 minutes later, police say that the same man tried to kidnap a 17-year-old girl as she walked along Victoria Drive in Kansas City, Kansas. An hour later, the suspect tried to kidnap an 11-year-old girl as she walked along Riverview in Kansas City, Kansas.
