Three-Alarm-Fire Investigated at KU Lab

Investigators are trying to figure out how a fire started on the University of Kansas Campus. Fire crews responded to Malott Hall around 7:15 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters reported heavy smoke and fire on the fifth floor after entering the building. The three-alarm-fire was confined to a laboratory.

The building was vacant at the time of the fire. No one was hurt.
