FTC Cracks Down on Bogus TV Websites

The Federal Trade Commission says fake TV news websites were set up to try and promote Acai Berry Products. The FTC has filed suit seeking to permanently shut down 10 of the companies that engaged in misleading advertising and dubious billing practices. Many customers who thought they were getting a free sample were charged $79.95 or more for the practice.
