KCPD Reports 15 DUI Arrests in Latest Drunk Driving Crackdown
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Missouri Police say that they made 15 driving while intoxicated arrests during a week-long crackdown on impaired driving last week.
According to police, 121 vehicles were stopped over the seven-day crackdown which ended on Monday. In addition to the 15 DUI arrests, police reported 79 hazardous moving violations, 40 other traffic violations, 33 uninsured motorist violations and 25 seatbelt violations.
“When we remove a drunk driver from the roads, we’re all safer,” said KCPD Sgt. Ron Podraza in a statement. “Law enforcement will continue to encourage drivers to make a simple, smart choice to drive sober.”
