Suspected Killer On the Run, Could Be Armed

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. -- The Leavenworth Police Department is asking for assistance locating a murder suspect, 36-year-old Aundray Duashawn McDonald, whom they consider armed and extremely dangerous.

McDonald is a suspect in the double murder of Derrick and Marshall Jones on December 16, 2011.

Derrick, 25, and Marshall, 28, were found about 6 p.m. Friday, Dec.16, 2011 after their car crashed at Union Park in Leavenworth. Police say they were shot outside a barbershop in North Leavenworth. Derrick was pronounced dead at the scene and Marshall died at the hospital of gunshot wounds.

McDonald has outstanding arrest warrants for two counts of First Degree Murder, Criminal Discharge of a Firearm, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Leavenworth Police Department at 913-651-2260 and speak with the lead investigator Det. Brian Anderson.
