Joplin Tornado Remembered in New Play: “After the Storm”

CAMERON, Mo. -- The tornado that struck Joplin last May was one of the deadliest twisters in history. But from that tragedy came an outpouring of help - including a new play about the storm written and performed by Cameron High School students.

FOX 4's Mary Pulley is Working for You with more on the play, and the important messages the students who wrote and perform it have for all who see their performance.

Cameron High School in Cameron Missouri is proud to present "After The Storm," based on the tragic events of the May 2011 tornado. Ticket sales from the play go toward rebuilding the city of Joplin.

If you want to see "After The Storm" it's playing March 15th - 17th at 7pm

Tickets sell at the door for $5.00.
