Worker Dies in Industrial Accident in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department responded to an industrial accident at Harland Manufacturing late Tuesday afternoon.

When firefighters arrived on the scene at about 3:00 p.m. they found that a piece of equipment that they use in manufacturing had fallen on a worker. The worker died from the injuries.

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration or OSHA is now investigating the accident. The victim’s name has not been released.
