Shauntay Henderson Sentenced to Seven Years in Federal Prison

Shauntay Henderson arrested here, Sept. 15, 2010 for possession of an illegal firearm. She pleaded guilty in federal court on Oct. 27, 2011.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman was once on the FBI’s Most Wanted list will spend seven years behind bars. Shauntay Henderson was sentenced to federal prison without parole on Monday.

Henderson pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in October, 2011. Kansas City Police officers found a .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun on Sept. 15, 2010 during a car stop.

When police stopped the driver of the car, Henderson led them on a short foot chase.

She also has prior felony convictions for voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action.
