Police ID KCMO Homicide Victim

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —  Police have identified a man found dead in a Kansas City, Missouri, home on Thursday.

James Conklin, 27, was found dead inside the back door of a residence in the 400 block of North Wheeling by officers responding to reports of shots fired on Thursday afternoon.

The case is still under investigation by homicide detectives. Police are encouraging anyone with information in the case to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
