KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A new report from the Institute for Health Metrics finds a big difference in life expectancy between counties, and even between neighboring counties in the metro.

Men in Johnson County, Kansas, live on average almost eight years longer than men in Wyandotte County, while women in Johnson County live five years longer than women in Wyandotte.
