Man Critically Injured in Northland Shooting

GLADSTONE, Mo. — Police are investigating after a shooting in Gladstone that left a man in critical condition.

According to police, officers were called to an apartment in the 100 block of NE 61st Terrace shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Sunday night where they found a man in his 20’s with a gunshot wound to the neck.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was scheduled to undergo emergency surgery, authorities said.

There is no word on any suspect in the case. Police are asking anyone with information in the shooting to call the Gladstone Police at (816) 436-3550 or the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
