SEDALIA, Mo. -- Police in Sedalia say that they are pleased that a sting operation Thursday morning likely means the end to what they describe as a “nagging meth lab”.

The Sedalia Police Department’s Strike Team Investigators of Narcotics and Gangs, or STING squad, arrested four people, two men and two women, at the home at 1808 South Osage.

Jeffrey Miller, Holly Hoskins, Brian Johnson and Alexis Arnwine were all arrested in the raid, and face a variety of charges. All four are now in the Pettis County Jail.

Investigators say a three-year-old child was also in the home. She is now staying with other relatives.

Police say they seized a significant amount of crystal meth, more than the average user would have. They also say they recovered a car that was reported stolen last week.

Neighbor Debbie Williams says that she has lived in the area for 15 years, and is glad that police raided the home.

"I'm happy," said Williams. "Hopefully they can clean the rest of the block too, and maybe get it back to a good neighborhood.
