Kansas City’s Union Station is making a financial comeback. With the addition of two new tenants, the historical landmark has now leased 100 percent of its available space.

Union Station has been through a lot since 1999 when an unprecedented bi-state tax helped renovate the building. But over the last several years, Union Station was in the red. Now things are looking up. Leasing to new tenants like the newly added UMKC Life Sciences and USPS will help Union Station on its road to financial recovery.

Successful exhibits like Lady Di and the current Titanic have also helped Union Station’s budget.
