Metro Man Faces Murder Charge

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A metro man is behind bars for his part in a murder. Mark Black, 20, has been charged with 2nd degree murder and 1st degree assault in the death of Tyrone Parish and the injuries of two other men.

Court records show Kansas City Police responded to Research Medical Center to investigate a shooting on March 26. Two assault victims told police that two men fired shots at them during a drug deal at the Grandview Courthouse.

Black was taken into police custody on June 22.

Leanthony Mullins, 21, was also charged in this case.
