Bartender Jenn Tosatto shared some fun 4th of July Jell-O shot ideas. They’re a fun and easy way to celebrate the holiday, and they can be made with or without alcohol.

Jell-O Shots Made Easy
1 6 oz box of your favorite flavor Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
2 cups liquor of your choice (stay away from over-proof liquors such as Bacardi 151. They will prevent the Jell-O from setting properly.)

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Pour over Jell-O and stir until the powder is completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature. Add 2 cups of the liquor of your choice. Be creative! (You don’t just have to use vodka or tequila. Try a cordial like Cointreau or St. Germaine to create much more interesting flavor combinations.)

Pour 1 to 1 1/2 oz of the mixture into small cups and put in refrigerator. Allow to set for at least three hours, but preferably overnight. Serve, and enjoy!
