Cocktail Crawl to Raise Money for Water.org
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Raise your glass and make a toast to clean water for people around the world! It’s a Cocktail Crawl from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Crossroads District on Saturday, July 21.
Women in the developing world walk on average 3.7 miles daily for clean water. We aren’t going quite that far! But we are crawling the Crossroads District and toasting cocktails to help raise money for Water.org.
Tickets are only $10. You can provide fresh, clean water to one person for life for only $25, so your money will do a lot.
Check-in begins at 3 p.m. inside Union Station. From there, the Crossroads is your oyster! Pierponts, Grünauer, Nica’s, Snow & Co., Nara and more will open their doors with specially-priced cocktails for those who “crawling” for Water.org. The route runs about one mile total.
The $10 ticket goes to help Young Water.org support the Water.org mission: bringing clean water and the dignity of a toilet to the world in our lifetime. (There will be tax receipts available at check-in!) Bring a team of friends and toast to change!
