K-State Ranked #21 in Preseason Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first preseason college football poll was released on Thursday, and the Kansas State Wildcats are in the top 25.

The USA TODAY Coaches poll included seven teams from the SEC, and 6 teams from the Big 12. LSU picked up 18 first-place votes, and Alabama received 20-first place votes. But the Tigers of LSU received more points or votes overall. USC from the Pac 12 is ranked third, followed by Oklahoma and Oregon.

The rest of the top 10 features Georgia at number six, followed by Florida State, Michigan, South Carolina and Arkansas.

The K-State Wildcats come in at number 21.
