Man Dies Following Fight at KCMO Gas Station

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating after a man died following an altercation at a gas station on Sunday night.

According to police, officers were called to the BP gas station in the 1900 block of Independence Avenue around 10:45 p.m. on a disturbance report where they found the victim in the parking lot suffering from possible stab wounds.

He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses say that the victim was involved in an altercation with a man and two women – all three were soon located near the scene and taken into custody.
