Two Shootings Investigated in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY — Kansas City Police are investigating two separate shootings that sent two people to the hospital. The first shooting happened around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police were called to the area of 93rd & Bales for a disturbance. When they arrived, they learned that one person had been taken to the hospital by personal vehicle with a gunshot wound.

One person died in a second shooting at 66th Terr. & Virginia. Several people called police after hearing multiple gunshots. A neighbor told police they had a bullet inside their home. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance where they later died.
