KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A metro place of worship is scrambling to find a way to get their members to church after vandals damaged the church's two vans on Sunday morning.

According to members of the Morning Start Missionary Baptist Church at 27th and Wabash, more than 40 people rely on the vans to get to church on Sunday.

The church says that someone stole the catalytic converters out of both vans, leaving them unable to start.

Church officials say that they were able to get some of their members to church on Sunday through other means, but were unable to get to everyone in time.

There is no word on how much it will cost to repair the vehicles.
