LENEXA, Kan. -- Great progress is being made in the war on cancer.  Yet people with brain cancer still only survive, on average, months instead of years.

FOX 4 Medical Reporter Meryl Lin McKean has the story of one metro man who's taking part in research in hopes of saving his life.
