Classes Canceled after Bomb Threat Reported at Northeast High School

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Classes have been canceled at Northeast High School due to a reported bomb threat.

Authorities said someone called 911 to report a bomb at the school Wednesday morning prior to the beginning of classes. Students who arrived at school were first moved to the soccer/football field before school officials announced that classes would be canceled.

Police requested a bomb-sniffing dog to assist in the investigation.
