Problem Solvers: Blender Puts People at Risk, Company Fined

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A company that FOX 4 Problem Solvers first warned you about last week has been slapped with a $850,000 fine. It's for taking too long to report a serious defect with its blender.

It's a defect so hazardous that it actually hurt someone. Problem Solver Linda Wagar has the details about the incident and about other companies that drag their feet in letting the public know that their products have problems.
