KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With the help of President Obama’s personal trainer, Calvary Temple Baptist Church encouraged its congregation to include fun and fitness in their lives.

Fitness consultant Cornell McCellan urged everyone to ‘mind their own business’ by committing to physical activity everyday.

Four years ago, Pastor Eric Williams decided to get his church moving after seeing young people die from unhealthy choices.

“We want to stop some of the unnecessary deaths and hospitalizations. We want people to live long, healthy lives and this is one way to do it,” he said.

The church also gave demonstrations to show ways to make healthy choices like substituting ground turkey for ground beef.
