KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tickets for the majority of the remaining home games for the Chiefs are going for cheap, as third-party ticket sites like Stubhub have tickets for next Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals for $9.

Despite the price, some fans say it’s still not worth it.

” I still wouldn’t go, they are so bad this year,” said Mark Kanatzar.

The same $9 ticket on Stubhub was $6.99 last week. Local ticket brokers say they have never seen prices drop this low.

“That is absolutely insane especially when you think that parking is more expensive than the tickets themselves,” said David Asekoff.

Parking at Arrowhead Stadium for Chiefs games is $20 per vehicle.

Asekoff moved to Kansas City four years ago. He was a regular at Gillette Stadium where the New England Patriots play. When he arrived in Kansas City he says he noticed the lack of support for pro sports.

” It was clear that people don’t believe in professional sports except for soccer,” said Asekoff.  “They believe in college sports..”

Even the expensive seats that would cost hundreds of dollars are now averaging between $60 and $70.
