KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Fire damaged a Kansas City, Kansas, home on Thursday morning.

The blaze started in the two-story home near 34th and Brown around 9:45 a.m. There were four people and a dog inside the home when the fire started, and authorities say that all managed to escape unharmed.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, but faulty wiring is suspected.
