KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Accidents caused by slick conditions and poor visibility were numerous on Thursday.

As FOX 4 reported, semi tractor-trailers became stuck as they tried to drive on Interstate 29 north of Platte City.

Interstate 70 was also closed westbound near Oak Grove for about two hours after three semis were involved in another accident.

But it wasn’t just tractor-trailers.

See the photo gallery below of cars that ended up in ditches, into poles, and even under a tree.

If you have a picture to share of an accident, send it to our assignment desk at

We will add it to our ‘bad day’ photo gallery.
