LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Technology continues to become a bigger part of our everyday lives and every week, here at the Tech Report, we try to connect the world with what’ new.

We’re taking a look back at the 2012 and giving you a look forward to 2013.

In 2012, the Tech Report took you everywhere: From Las Vegas for Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012; to San Francisco for the iPad 3 launch; and even Austin, Texas for SXSW to name a few.

We brought you info on all the gadgets you crave and answered your pressing tech questions. Like what’s the difference between LCD, LED and Plasma TVs? What’s 4G LTE? Is the new iPad with Retina worth the upgrade? Is Windows 8 a worthy upgrade?

But it wasn’t all about electronics.

We also showed you how tech was changing the world of sports: From navigating the high seas in Miami’s yacht race; to strolling down the street with a three-wheeled scooter, the Trikke; and, even an app that work with hi-tech shoes to measure how high you can jump–sure to settle many bar bets.

The Tech Report was on it, having fun while doing it all.

And most importantly, we even managed to talk to Jessica Alba… twice!

2012 was another great year for tech and, we’ll start next year off right.

Soon we’ll be heading to Las Vegas for the 2013 CES where we’ll bring you a preview of the technologies to expect in the next year.
