Two Arrested After Police Chase, Officer Assault

PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. — Two people have been arrested after a police chase Monday morning in Platte County.

The car was also apparently involved in an assault against a law enforcement officer in Kansas City, Kan., the sheriff’s office reported.

According to the sheriff’s office, a car was reported stolen around 11:40 a.m. in Kansas City, Kan. Sheriff’s deputies were able to track the car down and chase it to Dearborn, Mo., where they briefly lost track of the car.

The car was eventually found in the area of 2nd and July streets where sheriff’s deputies saw two people run inside a home.

Deputies arrested Darren M. Jameson, 28, of Claycomo, Mo., and Natalie R. Fox, 27, of Excelsior Springs, Mo. in connection with outstanding warrants and other charges related to the pursuit, the sheriff’s office said.
