Is a new iPhone already in the works? Maybe. According to The Next Web, developers are starting to see evidence of a new iPhone and iOS 7 is usage logs.

One developer said Apple has been testing new hardware for a successor to the iPhone 5, running on iOS 7. No specifics have been released about the new phone or the software it’s running, but sources told The Next Web that Apple began working on iOS 7 at the end of 2012.

While it’s possible Apple could release the new operating system in the months to come, Apple is unlikely to launch a new phone prior to fall 2013.
