Homeowner Calls Police About Snowman Vandalism
CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Call it a waste of time, but a homeowner insisted that police file a report about their damaged snowman.
The homeowner called police after somebody knocked over the snowman following a recent snowfall. Police reports show the officer who arrived suggested the homeowner drop the incident, since the snowman was going to melt anyway. The homeowner persisted, saying the snowman’s clothing was damaged in the vandalism.
St. Louis television station KMOV reports that the home is located in an upscale neighborhood, where homes run around $500,000.
