KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Facebook began rolling out a new calling button to all of its U.S. iPhone Messenger app users Wednesday, allowing you to call other Facebook users for free over WiFi or a data connection.

To initiate a call, open a conversation, tap the “i” button in the top right corner and tap “Free Call.”

When you try to call someone, a push notification will appear on that users’ screen that says “xxxxx” is calling.

The option is currently only available in the U.S. and only for iPhone users who have the separate Messenger app installed.
